Admissions to Ph.D. Program

The Biomolecular Science (BMS) Gateway

Michigan State University has organized six of the biological sciences graduate units under one umbrella, designated as the Biomolecular Science (BMS) Gateway. Admissions and the first year of graduate studies are administered through the BMS.

Students admitted through the BMS earn their degrees in one of the participating units. The BMS offers students flexibility in their course of study and research training.

Students admitted to the graduate program must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
